as the title says i have a 96 mercury 150. i just connected up a new control harness and all the wires appear the be connected properly but i am not able to raise the engine using the button on the engine, it lowers fine but will not raise. do i not have the harness connected properly? or is it the switch itself.
i did notice that when i do press the button up i can hear something clicking and it appears to be coming from a relay towards the back of the engine. could it be the relay?
