I by passed the hot water tank, put 3 gallons on antifreeze in the water tank. ran all sytems until pink stuff came out. Am I allset now? The manual for the vacu-flush system says to flush 2 gallons down it. I did maybe a 1/2 gallon. Should I do more?
 
When you flush the head does pink come out of the water line to the head? Macerator, same question. Ice machine? Cockpit shower?
 
Yes, when I flushed,pink stuff filled the bowl. I also hit the macerator pump. pink came out
 
How 'bout the hot water exchange loop from the engine. That needs to be removed (from the engine,both sides) and blown with air to remove the water left in the loop. Tom
 
Shaun........some water heaters do have a loop to the motor. You may want to check to be sure.

If you pink thru the drive intakes.....on a raw water motor....it should be covered.
 
I don't have lines going to the engine. I drained the hot water tank and keep the valve open. should i use a funnel and pour some pink stuff in the water hot & cold intakes?....
 
No, the tank's empty and bypassed. Did you do the city water inlet as above?
