I have a 2004 2860 (2760) and I trailer it with no problem. Use a 10,000 lb dual axle because I have some tight turns, wish I would have got a 10,500 lb trailer so I would have a little bit more buffer. Bent the winch handle so it will not hit the pulpit, and when it does hit you will have some gelcoat work, learn from my mistake.
I use a Nextrailer bunk trailer (bunks cut to allow for the stepped hull) and have no problem launching and recovering, never power it on, just float it on and off. Really helps having guide on poles. Without the poles it is 9'11" wide so you will need towing permit, with poles it is 10' 4" wide.
Talked to Regal before I started trailering and they advised me to make sure that the bunks extend a couple inches past the transom, provides support.
Have an extended swim platform which really makes a difference. Put my 2000 Honda gen on it at anchor, runs the a/c very well. Yes, I do have CO detectors.
Sorry I jump around, just listing things as they came to mind
Hope this helps.
