Al drove down to Maryland (200+ miles) to survey a boat for me last month. His survey was awesome to watch including the infrared scan of the hull, engines, and generator. He found several issues with the boat, many of which I would not have found without his assistance. He was extremely professional, and informative all along the way. I learned a tremendous amount about the boat and all its systems from him during the survey.

The bottom line is that his survey allowed me to renegotiate an already deeply discounted price even further to make accommodations for any issue that may need addressing in the future.

Thanks again,
Michael King

Hey Mike,

I saw your post and that you purchased a 3372 as opposed to the 3375 you were looking at earlier..

Just curious can you send me some pics of the boat?? You mentioned there were some items of interest found in the survey.. can you email me a note of what to be aware of w/these boats?

shadow7117 at AOL

We were all set to go look at a 3375 Repo in VA and were leaving today.. they contacted us yesterday to say they have an offer pending the survey today.. so we're back to looking again.

Thanks in advance,

DogDaze,

The boat's being delivered tomorrow, so I'll get you some good pics this weekend. There are a good number of 3375's in the chesapeake area to look at. I can give you some details on the ones we looked at. Is the one in VA at Commonwealth? We didn't make it to VA but I did speak with them on that boat and sound and looked good.

The 3372 and 3372 are virtually identical. The 3375 stopped in 2000 and then was brought back by demand in 2002 as the 3372. We love the layout of the boat and really were impressed reading reviews and the performance specs on the boat. As far as what Al found was nothing specific to the 337x boat, just things that I would have probably overlooked. He found a total of 12 issues that had to be addressed, several were obvious, but many were due to his knowledge and experience. If you want to talk about some of the boats in that area or any details of the one we're buying give me a call, I'll email my number.

Joe,
You need to move fast on the deals that look really good, also don't be shy on making a ridiculous offer on what seems to already be a good deal.

Happy Hunting

They have re-phrased the term "asking price" to "begging price".

Mike, Thank you so much for your comments..Hope to see you on the river sometime.

Hi Mike, Hi Walter,

Thanks for your notes..

Mike, hopefully by now you have your boat delivered and in the water... and all is well...
yes, we were considering the boat at Commonwealth.. they tell me that it is sold, only waiting for the new owner to get the $$ lined up.. so we will keep looking for now.

They seem to move fast, but like you say there are a lot of them around right now. I'll be curious to see the pictures of yours if you'd like to send or post.

Thanks again,

I'm away for a couple of days and will send some when we get back.
