a great book

I found a marvelous book about boating and cruising and sailing in general. Its called "A Mariner's Miscellany" If you like boats, get it.

Why there is pleaure in messing around with boats......."In or out of 'em, it doesn't matter. Nothing seems to really matter, thats the charm of it. Whether you get away or whether you don't; whether you arrive at your destination or whether you reach somewhere else or whether you get anywhere at all, you're always busy, and you never do anything in particular; and when you've done it there's always something else to do...."

I sure hope that book gave proper credit to the "Wind in the Willows" for that famous bit about messing about in boats.....
