Ronco (the guy who brought us potato peeler and hair paint for that pope hat bald spot) Needs to have his invention creative team make a 20' x 2' long fender that would stretch from front to rear cleat, just like a bunch of Z's turned up and down.
I'll buy the first one.
 
Maybe he can make it like the x hose, it expands as you inflate it.

There's an idea.

Seems like when we raft it's always a juggling match with fender placement.
 
How about this: a hypalon or similar fender 'tube' running along the hull that inflates and deflates from a channel built into the hull near the rub rail. Engine-mounted compressor. Inflates and deflates quickly as needed at the captain's command. Disappears visually when deflated. No need to have crew on deck setting up fenders when approaching the dock.
 
Or just have it there all the time like the collar on a Safeboat, only closed cell rubber foam rather than rigid?
