I hate when the bad guys win one. As an underwriter, I do everything in my power to ensure we only insure valid boats, boats which will not be used for illegal activity, and boats which won't end up in a chop shop a month after policy incept.
But every now and then I miss one. A boat ends up stripped. I saw this boat and had a bad feeling about it, but nothing concrete.
I just raised my customers' premium.
