Activity on the Hudson

I didn't see much of anything floating from Stony Point all the way down to Liberty Landing.

Same here, except the tree stumps that are now channel markers.

When are you going in? I see you boat is un-shrink wrapped.

I plan to be up there all weekend this weekend. Actually may even stay on board for the first time.

IDK.. I took the shrink off last Monday but haven't been able to get back down. Maybe in a few weeks.. I need to take care of a few things, buff, buff, buff, clean and buff again, touch up the bottom, etc...

Oh yeah and I have a chunk of fiberglass missing from my Radar Arch with blue paint all around it.. Wonder how that happened?

I hope to be down this weekend working on it so I am sure if ytou are around I will steal a few beers from you..

Oh dear, the Martians have visited ANOTHER boat!

It wasn't the travel lift. It was a Blue squirrel. He took a bite out of my platform.

Bob, Going in or coming out?
I talked to Wayne and he said everything we be taken care A.S.A.P.
I am wondering if I should wait till I am in the water to have them fix it, would really suck if they fix it on the hard then wack it again going in... Where is Gene when you need him, is he the only one qualified to drive the lift?

Eddie is every bit as good as Gene was Leigh. You have to request he do your boat and then be there to make sure it happens. Nothing personal against the other lift operators but they just don't seem to have the same level of care as Eddie or Gene.

Request that "The Boat God" be the one who works on your boat. That is how he is referred to at SPBM.....

He fixes engines or anything else broke on a boat, operates the travel lift without hitting things and I might be wrong on this one but I believe I saw him actually walk on water one afternoon when he thought no one was looking! ;)

That is not true Rommer. It looked that way. He just knows where the rocks are located and he was stepping on them.

Did you HAVE to burst my bubble! ;)

That is what I do best. I am a B-Buster and I believe the B stands for Bubble. However I may be wrong about that.... :--)))

In that case he would have been walking on the mud John.
