Anyone going? I will be there on Sunday. Hope the weather gods cooperate.

Going Sunday - we usually do both days but anniversary calls....women!

Anyway - if it's flat we will be out by mid lauderdale beach - look for the harley!

Going Sunday

O, Better try the SS props before Sunday. I refuse to get up early and open up the shop.

Looks like Sunday for me too. Any one running up from Maimi and would like to run in convoy?

If all goes will with out survey tommorrow I should be running the boat back from Key Largo to Palm Beach. It just so happens this show is going on so it will be a perfect half day rest stop.

I have never been before... certainly not on our boat therefore can anyone offer the best time to stay for during the day or location to be or anchor?

Thanks,

Peter

You cannot miss it. There will be a very large flotilla if the weather is good.

Air portion will start at noon and be over by 4.

Make sure you have plenty of anchor rode, you will need it.

we went but the new props didnt work out. Despite Joes majic. the damn boat could not get on plane with these clevered props. I suspect they are mismarked (not really 17x23 pitch or I need to ventilate the heck out of them to allow them to spin up and get me on plane. Guess I'll mount the anitques back on for a while - very disapointing. Again - thanks JOE!!!!

Anyway we went from hillsboro inlet to about half way to air and sea and it was a frikin zoo - every man for himself, no courtesy...usual S FL cluster. So we Uturned (since we couldnt plane and get out of the way) and took the ICWW down to about Sunrise - blender going, avoiding the azzez, and really enjoyed the airplanes. Way home was a challenge because again, people were running up on us at 30 mph in whitewater from all the boats buzzing, passing us on the right and left without warning...bit annoying but it was still nice to get out.

O,
Can those drives be converted to straight inboards??[:-banghead][:-banghead]
Get some dimensions of the ventilaters on paper or make a cardboard template.

Don't feel to bad as I did not make it down either, my props where totaly loaded up, I was so pissed. Already fired the diver this morning, he has been billing me but obviously has not done any cleaning in months. Was able to salvage some of the day by going to Haulover and anchor so the kids could swim.
