When I filled the water tanks this spring, I noted algae (small green/brown clumps) that are most prominent in the fresh water to the vacuflush. This is most noticable, likely because the water volume flow there is slow. If I fill a glass at the sink, it also shows the same contamination.
I put some bleach in the system (not very concentrated) and let it sit for an hour or two. Then I ran water through all the faucets. Now things are cleaner, but I still get contamination if the boat sits a few days.
