Rear Commodore.. Does that mean like the pants have that easy access rear panel ....

Hummm... stay away from walter...

Rob,

Think about it, "easy access rear panel", that would be great for you and all those little furry animals you are so attached too. :}

Walter

And you wouldn't have to wear a diaper on long trips.

Damn.....

Wrong again.....

Ok next question for 20.00

Nope,
I am going to call the office and have Joelle list it.....

Walter

Do I dare ask about the wood floor ?

U and don having any priv get togethers soon???

I sooo need to do something ....

I charged my VHF and my sat phone. Changed batteries in all the walk talkies.
Changed batteries in all the other stuff.... ( alot batteries ) I good to go... it stays warm during wekeend ... Im taking my shrink off..... start waxing...... well i mean calling to have it waxed...

I can feel it .... ahhhhhhh

I have a guy to do the floors(Jimmys brother-inlaw) and meet with him last week. I am having second thoughts about doing this.

I have alot of wood work in my boat and to introduce more wood and to try to match it is a problem.
Next problem is all the trim that will be needed (another matching nightmare). Plus all the hatches will need trim around them, which I feel will take away from the look of the floor.

Being that my salon is two levels (bedrooms and galley down) each area where the floors will be installed is small and all the trim will make it look to busy.

I am going to either replace or have the carpet cleaned....

Walter

Rob,
How do you get your bottom painted when it is still so cold out?

Walter

Walter, last year I put my spring work order in early at the Anchorage. I guess since they were slow they went ahead and did my bottom paint early. It was painted in early March, when it was still cold out. I wasn't too happy about it at first but I didn't have any problems. I guess the instructions about painting when it's going to be over 50 degrees might not be that important.

Walt,
Go with ur gut and dont do it ... clean it .. i have a feeling ull be unloading the boat....

I go in same time every year.. never hada problem with the bottom paint. They do though wait for it to be above freezing...

We have argued about that in the past... Dont promise me a splpash date and change it due to sissy weather damnit ... Im worse then a child with some stuff......

im dying here with out the boat....

Rob

WalterV: Did you post slip with Joelle? I have taken a slip at SS3 where I bought my boat in December, but am definitely interested if there is a slip for rent with winter space also at The Anchorage. I have a 14' beam. I know yours is only 13.2 but you had said you had a friend with one on D dock. Can you email me his info or if you know his price. Hopefully, it'e early enough that I can coerce SS3 to give me my money back if I decide to go over to Anchorage.

Thanks,
OJ

I have a slip on D dock for rent, 2 slips down from Walter. The beam is approx. 16 ft. wide. If you have an interest in it give me a call ** 516-697-4349.
Thanks Ed.

Depending on the direction of the wind, this could be a "stinky" slip!

Walt,
U got ur slip all cleaned up... i should be there in about a week or two.....

Whats the beam on that bad boy ...

Im alittle concerned aboutthe tideswing so early in the season...

Anyone ever think of installing tide BARS ON THE PILINGS. Would help alot with line adjustment.

Rob

"Anyone ever think of installing tide BARS ON THE PILINGS. Would help alot with line adjustment."

Feel free to install them.......

I have been in as early (or late in you case) as March 25th, never had a problem with tide swing.
Beam on the slip should be 16' or more, my boat is 13'10" on the beam and I have plenty of room.

Jimmy's brother is the one who owned the slip before me, he had a 42 Jersey that draws more water than me and he neve had any problems (he kept the boat in year round for many seasons).

OJ,

Eric's brother, Ed has a nice slip, if you are intrested you should csll him, slips on D dock usually have a waiting list.
