If you own a slip at AYC, the meeting is Friday 11/15 at 7:00 pm.

This is a very important meeting and every vote counts.

If you are a owner and would like more info on the candidates running, please contact me or see me at the meeting.

We need to make sure the board does not get stacked against us!

Thanks!

Votes need to go to Ludwig and Foster, do 50 50 split

Reminder the meeting is this Friday.
Please vote.
I will be at meeting.

May or may not be there, I mailed my votes in. For those that have never gone, its pretty entertaining.

learned alot at the meeting. The board can do what ever wants and says FU to everyone blatantly

Very nice

No lights on an entire dock for a season that's ridiculous.

People randomly fired because of a board conflict ? Place has lots of issues .... Its embarrassing

Sounds a little like another yacht club I've heard about. Right Brad?

Yes, many Yacht Clubs are similar...give someone a little power and it goes to their head.

Well we did get the new guy's on the board we wanted.
So let's hope we now have a decent board that can work.

They also showed me the full financials after the meeting, which was interesting.

If I ever find the time or energy, I would run for the board.
With a Million dollar budget, seems there is lots of places for money to get lost!

Billy, you got it.. It was a mess, even when we were on the board, a real lop sided bunch. Well we tried.

AYC and LIYC are 2 different leagues.
Issues are similiar but AYC is by far superior for what we pay vs what we get.
Yes, hurts that incompetent board can mess the place up, but I pay less then $2K a year to keep a 40' boat docked there all year long!

You tell me any other place on Long Island you can say that!

Place could be even better if the board got it's act together, but for what it is and what it costs, I can't imagine finding a better deal! LIYC your paying 4 times that!

No offense meant, just adding on to what Rob said. No marina situation is perfect, and if your boat is behind your house, then there is no one to complain to or about and that's a problem.

just joking,

Billy K.
