SO behind my slip there is a HUGE hole in the bulk head. Been there for 3 seasons that i know of.
So now the concrete area behind the boats all cracked ( thank god for rebar ) and the blk top of the parking lot is starting to collapse into the hole. Apparently no one cares. ID be flipping if i had to pay dues and deal with this crap ..... Do they not invest infrastructure? Do these lectred guys even know how to run a bussiness ?
Rob,
The Anchorage has in the budget to replace seawalls every year; they just completed D dock this season. D dock has around 70 or so slips, they did this in three seasons. Also during that time they replaced a lot of the floating docks.
The way it was explained to me is they replace the most troubling areas first, another words if all of D dock is worst off than C dock then they start that project first. Although your slip may be bad, they must have thought that C dock was in better shape than D dock and therefore started there first.
At least we invest our money in things that really are important, like the straps on the lift that pulls your boat out of the water.
