And so it begins...

sorry Warren, I felt that taking my son out for his 18th birthday trumped having a margarita with you.

Went out for a spin today, down to Bowline and back - it is great to be back out on the water!

Staying up tonight Mike? My vodka is almost gone, will stop by! ;)

What's the price of fuel looking like down there (Stony Point/Haverstraw)? Are they still selling last years at a premium?

Still looks like winter with all the clothes the travel lift guy had on!

Was a very nice day today. Brought the boat over and did some more cleaning on it. Did not do too much because it was just nice to sit back on it and relax with a few beers and a cigar. Got to have priorities.

So how do you like your now slip? Enjoy the peace and quite it wont last long.
I paint the 5th coat of bottom paint and then used the fuel polisher to clean out the fuel tanks. That went much smoother then I expected. Time to clean next. Hope to get in the water soon.

Mike went out on big red...
Fuel at Panco is suppose to be 2.20 a gallon. Same price I paid for last fuel up last year. Haverstraw is not open till next week.
It was a beutiful day yesterday. ALot of trash in water but that is the usual for spring. We saw quite a few boats yesterday on the water.

Does anyone know how much diesel is at Panco?
I must be insane because I'm heading to the boat with the hopes of buffing if the rain holds off for a bit.

Been mist type rain all morning Dave. Not very nice here.

So I found out but at least I vacuumed out the bilge and and scrubbed the top side. I guess there is always next week for buffing. It's cleaning up well so it should only take a couple of days. I'm glad I got the fuel polishing out of the way last night. Home stretch now.

Let's hope the fuel stays at that price, but we'll see when memorial weekend comes. Hope to see everyone soon.

If gas stays under 3 bucks a gallon I'm thinking this will be a busy summer. It's still dead down here with marinas extending docking specials into April.

Diesel around here is running around $2.19 to $2.39.
