Android tablet marine GPS?

Not is place of but in addition to. And yes Android Tablet. I really only want it to calculate a few routes it is much cheaper the buying another G2 chart for my Garmin for a chart that I don't currently own. For about $14 I can have access to any chart I would ever need and it would enable me to plot course to get a good idea of a proposed trip. I don't have any plans for using it to navigate as my primary GPS.
I posted a thread about Navionics for he IPad and Doc posted that it is available for $10 for the Galaxy, an Android tab.
If available, that is probably your best bet.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4. I use it in the Bahamas. I have the Plan2Nav app installed, and it works with Active Captain. I cannot see working with an APP that does not support Active Captain.
Charts are good and detailed and were very reasonable.

I use INAVX on IPAD and love it.
There are a few different ones out there.

A friend recommended Isailor she loves it but it is only available for Ipads not Androids. The Navionics app does everything I was hoping for and was only $10 I'm happy I wanted to pre-plan a trip to gauge time needed I was able to do this door to door and it was quite and easy to figure out how to create and safe routes.

I just got back from another month in the Bahamas relying heavily on my iPad for navigation,using the garmin bluechart app which has excellent Bahamas charts.
I really don't see how WAAS would have brought any benefit in accuracy as the built in iPad GPS chip is extremely accurate.
I have a number of tracks I use in tricky areas especially when light conditions Are less than perfect and the non WAAS build in GPS puts me exactly where I need to be within a boat beam every time. In some cases, I have used both iPad and iPhone cross checked with the radar to come in unmarked unlit narrow cuts at night and both were dead accurate.
In the real world, that s enough for marine navigation.
Plan2Nav by Jeppesen, with C Map vector charts, and MX Mariner with NOAA raster charts. Both integrate ActiveCaptain data.
These are back-up to the normal on-board electronics... but actually another feature is that they give the chief navigator some freedom of mobility while the helmsman is pretty much stuck near the instruments...
