Annapolis Anyone?

Anyone heading to the boat show over the weekend? Look for me on Saturday, I will be the guy drinking beer and looking at boats I could never afford.[:-bonc01]

I went to the sail-boat show last week to keep my wife happy. Last week I was the guy dragging my wife away from boats we can't afford....if I make it, she'll be dragging me this week

Nope, we'll be baby-sitting the grandson on Saturday and doing an inspection/meeting with the builder at our "under construction" Still Pond house on Sunday. Boats are out of the picture for a couple of years... well, except for the dink we still have and a kayak or two just to keep the dock company.

Back when I was a musician for a living, I learned to stay out of music stores in order to not spend money. The same seems to work with boat shows! Instead, we ran up to Western PA (from Carroll County) to check on our ski condo. It's 34 degrees up here and I've got a fire burning in the fireplace. With luck we'll boat again next weekend (good to live in MD!).

My wife manned the booth for the Annapolis Power Squadron on both the sail and powerboat shows. Terrific bunch down here, like all Power Squadrons.

I tried to get a mooring ball and they are all full. So we are going to skip over this and head to South Herrington unless we get the crap knocked out of us. There's nothing like a following sea in this boat (sarcasm).
