If my wife wasn't fighting a cold we would have boated to AYC to watch the Christmas boat parade this weekend. It was nearly 70F here in MD today.

I hope their fire insurance is in order. About 1974 the beautiful St. Francis Yacht Club in SFO burned. If my memory serves there was a problem with the insurance.

Well, were in the marina and saw it all happen. Heard the fire alarm first, but didn't see anything. Minutes later, saw some smoke, then minutes later the kitchen help came running out of the outside stairs on the 3rd floor. Then, a ladder truck showed and EMS truck. Five hours later it was out. We were on my friends boat getting it decorated, about 100 yards away.

We have been in that club a few times over the last couple of years. A friend of mine is also a member.
