I hope the weather is about to change there is work to be done. I know I'm not alone in this I still see many if not most boats with shrink still up. I'm hoping to finish by Friday. The marinas still look empty anyone planning to go in soon?

Shrink wrap came off Thursday. Waiting for hull wax job (on the hard) this coming week, launch week of 20th.

That's what you get for waiting til the last moment!

Sitting on boat, 70 degrees with the heat on and waiting for breakfast...
Sorry guys, the devil made me say it....

Maybe next year I can try that. This year I was one of the first in the yard.

Butch, I take it you won't be sitting at the helm today...

Took the boat out for a ride last thurs. water was flat and temp was about 63, great day for a ride.

Is there a lot of crap foating in the River. I'm always worried about hitting something early in the season.

There is some stuff, but I've seen worse in the spring. There is always more after a heavy rain.

Hopefully heading down in a few hours. Not the best day to launch, but it may be a few weeks if I don't get in today.

What the hell happened to the afternoon clearing they promised us?????????

I see Mr Starry Night is now in the water. Should I go fish him out or leave him there?

Butch is that your best shot? :D

Ok, I know. By the end of May Freedom will be on the hard somewhere.

Well at least it was a good day for engine room work and cleaning the cockpit.
Starry Night glad to see you made it in. I was hoping to put the name on, I want to see how it looks.

A bottle of beer usually works! ;)

Well, we got our docks in today... of course we froze but at least the job is done!!! Happy Easter/Passover everybody!!!

Installing new batteries in the cold rain is just not fun. I fired up the engine checked out all the systems and the last thing I checked, wouldn't work. The trim would not raise or lower the engine. I started to diagnose the issue and broke the inline glass fuse and had to run out to get another. I then used a meter to test all the connections and the main one was dead. I ended up missing my window to get in yesterday.

Note to self - Connect all cables to battery even if it is raining. (I pushed the trim positive cable out of the way to get the batteries in and didn't reattatch it)

All systems are a go. I have Monday off, so I'll be in tomorrow.
