Hi everyone, I'm having a problem with overheating on my 99 Merc 7.4L/Bravo3 FWC. This is my first FWC boat and maybe I'm the one that is screwed up..
The boat is on a trailer right now and is supposed to go into the water for the season tomorrow. I wanted to make sure everything is up to snuff so I got some ear muffs on the outdrive turned on the water and fired it up. The engine runs fine but I noticed it wasn't sucking in any water from the ear muffs. It was jus pouring out the sides.. Then when the engine got to about 180 degrees the alarm came on!
Anone have any idea what could be going on here?
