My rudderpost has a bronze collar that rotates with the shaft. The collar rides on a support and apparently holds the rudder in place. There is metal dist at the bottom of the collar indicating wear. IMO there should be a bearing between the two pieces but none is visible. Anyone familiar with these?
any 440, 445 or 4207s out there?
