Anybody Tried Sugru?

Thanks for the post.

Thought of 2 uses (NBR) as I was watching the video. Two door compartments in SO's obnoxiously expensive POS fridge broke. This
will be the perfect remedy.

It looks like after all these years.....Duck Tape may have a serious competitor..... Be still my heart!
 
Has anybody tried this product? Does it work?
Seams to simple to be true.
 
Other than the comedic U-Tube video I wonder if anyone has tried this product and if it's for real?

An electronics hobbyist company offers it, sells a lot of it, and has had many user comments. They generally run like this:

"It's great!", "It's a bit pricey." and "Believe the expiration date. They are not kidding."

Overall, users who use "fresh" product, love it.

I have not yet experimented with it.
 
Finally a product to repair the cracked curly cord on my Raymarine VHF, albeit not cheap.
 
Looks like Silly putty when you leave it out of the egg!
 
So I ordered some from Amazon. Cheaper than the manufacturer. I'll check it out. It looks interesting.
 
It's a great product. I've used it many times for various little projects.

Expensive but good quality.

GeeBee, thanks for posting this stuff. I just fixed my over-priced Simultalk radio antenna -yellow is the repair area - (I also had to break it apart and re-solder the antenna to the board, but that's not a challenge to me).

Thanks Bill that's what I thought but I wasn't sure, it makes sense they would be at 2.4GHz.

Bill, they switched from 900MHz a few years ago. One factor was to make them internationally compatible. These newer units are a bit smaller than the 900 MHz versions too.
 
Nice molding job! I doubt I could make it that smooth.
