Anyone have an outboard brand snowmobile?

With winter upon some of us, does anyone have an old outboard brand snowmobile, maybe share some photos? Graeme

Do a google image search for Johnson, Evinrude, Mercury, Yamaha, and Suzuki snowmobiles. They all made them, none of them for long... I grew up in the 70's riding a Starcraft snowmobile, at that time everyone and their brother was making them. Lucky if you could ride any of those old sleds for more than 20 miles without something breaking.

Yes, I have a Yamaha 1000cc 4 stroke, great sled.

I don't know about the rest, but Yamaha is still a major player in Snowmobiles.

Never really figured out the whole picture thing, I don't have them "hosted" anywhere.

Sorry, forgot that Yamaha was still building them. My son had a 1980 Yamaha SS440 that he rode for many years. Melted a piston the first night he rode, more fun times working with him to replace that and getting it back out on the snow.
