I am interested in a boat that is in Brick NJ. at Bluewater Yachtsales. I live in Maryland and don't want to drive all the way out there to find that the "jewel" the broker claims she is is ready for the burn pile. Anyone who may have a few minutes to take a quick look at her for me? It would be really appreciated and I can return the favor in my neck of the woods. Thanks

About an hour and a half Mike but I just bought a new car that needs a road trip so if no one closer volunteers I might do it.

Thanks Rommer but thats too far for a favor with gas prices the way they are...LOL

Around my part of the world it's 30 minutes to a convenience store! Bought a fun new little toy that is not only fast but gets great gas mileage so seriously I'd be down for it if you strike out with someone more local.

Mike:

Brick is not too far from me. I may actually be heading that way this morning after an early doctor's appointment. The admiral wants to get a few things in the COSTCO which is right down the road from Bluewater. Hopefully you are online now, as I will be leaving the house in about an hour.

What kind of boat and who's the salesman?

I live 10 minutes from Bluewater, and would be happy to look at the boat for you, my cell is 732-241-1918, Steve

I got myself a 1967 Cadillac El Dorado convertible, hot pink, with whale skin hubcaps and all leather cow interior, brown baby seal lions for head lights.

I'm gonna drive in that baby at 115 miles per hour gettin' 1 mile per gallon!

Sweet car!

Maybe Pete will lend you his pink leather thong to go with it!

rommer, who are you kidding? you are going to take a car like that on the road in this weather? on the other hand if you are for real, you should be looking to bring it up to Bear Mountain Wednesday evenings starting late Spring for the cruise ins, you may be in line for a trophy if its clean enough....sounds like a nice ride....G

That post was a joke George, in fact those lines are from a infamous Dennis Leary song called "I'm an a$$hole"

I thought for sure Mike would have picked up on the reference. NO I am NOT saying Mike is an a$$hole!

I started a separate thread about my new car at http://www.boatered.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=111841

Didn't want to hijack the thread.

No, Art, we chase ambulances.

rommer, never heard of the song...

I'll have to give you a listen this summer Mike. It's a song Red Peters would be proud of.

Hey All, Thanks for the replys. Just got back in town. The boat is at Bluewater Yachtsales and it is a 40 Concorde. The salesmans name is Bill Medwin. I haven't had a return call from him in a few days...I guess due to the weather. You all are the greatest. Sorry I missed you on the 23 Dominic, that would have been perfect. COOOOOL car rommer!

Damn! Wish I had known! Did a boat delivery to Brick today.... Just got home a hour ago.

Thanks for the comments Mike. I'm really enjoying her...
