Looking to get a car or two detailed inside and out. I dont want the mobile service or a car wash.

One of the cars is black and isnt in the best of condition. Paint faded scratches etc. no dents.

Looking in the seaford massapequa farmingdale area.

Matt no you said no carwashs, but I had the hand car wash in wantagh on sunrise do a car for me and they did a great job.
 
Guy on Sunrise in Amityville, Impact Collision, did a nice detail on my daughter's car at the time he was doing some minor front end repair a while back. Whether he does detailing absent other body work, don't know. North side, just east of 110. I'd use him again.
 
I know its a littler further than you wanted to go, but Sound Dimensions in Syosset does a fantastic job. They will detail, clay bar, and get the car looking good.

We use them when we want the car to look super special and worth the money
 
If you want to stay closer there is a place in Baldwin, National Collission - body shop, but they do small mechanical work (oil changes, tires, brakes etc) and one hell of a detail.

Ask for Danny if you go there, he's the guy to speak with
 
Maybe...now that you mention it I think you're right. Never put that together before...They were an allstate direct repair shop, fixed my jag up beautifully, detailed it to perfection and then I sent my wife's car there to get detailed....2006 and it looks great
 
High end Detailers charge by the hour and it can run in to a lot of money. The best I know of on Long Island is Detailing Dynamics in Mineola. The other end of the spectrum is the local Car Wash. They are quickie type operations who do a decent enough job that a lot of Dealers and Wholesalers use them.
Unfortunately, there isn't much in between.
I am pretty fussy and do my own detailing as a hobby. I would never bring my car to a Car Wash to have it done because I can do a much better job myself. If you don't have the time, ability, or inclination to do it yourself then a Car Wash might be a good way to go.
The quality of the work and products in most Body Shops is about the same as in a Car Wash. The big difference is they might be willing to try to wet sand a bad area for you if they think it would do any good. I wouldn't trust a Car Wash to do that.
If I were to pay for a Detail I would go to Detailing Dynamics. But they get cars ready for show, and usually do very high end cars. They did a clear bra on the front fascia of my Corvette when it was brand new and it was the cheapest car in the shop by a lot.
 
JVM very good call. Detailing Dynamics is another fantastic option. We go to a lot of car shows, and they do a lot of the prep work for them. I'd say Sound Dimensions in Syosset is almost as good and about half the price (figure 200-300 for the detail vs. 500+). If you were selling the car or going to Auction I'd recommend spending upwards of 1,500 and leaving your car for a weekend. If it's just to bring out some shine, then go to Sound Dimensions. If you want a decent hand detail then the body shop at about $125

or a local car wash...lol
 
Dont laugh guys but WAVES And Wheels is a mobil detailer. They do all my cars and as u know the boat. Cant go wrong with Dean and his crew .

Rob.....I found Waves and Wheels of Florida........I had them give my coach a bath...

Rob MAY have it .......

One thing these guys do that I liked..... is bring their own filtered/treated water system in the trailer.....and their water doesn't leave them annoying water spots.
