Guys,
I found a great Authorized Cummins repair shop in Freeport. MAKO MARINE . called them yesterday, explained my issue they said bring it over. ITS APRIL they dropped everything to look at my motors and fix it . NO BOAT BULL**** just great hard working guys . HUGE THANK YOU !
AND I WASNT GANG RAPED like a certain OTHER cummins dealer.

Rob, known Paul and crew four years they do all my work, great people to work with, docking there this year as well
 
Who is "other Cummins dealer"? I have been running a pair of Cummins for 26 years and have only had to buy parts and have used Mako Marine in the past. Cummins Metropower in Bohemia is also good. Filters, belts etc from LI Trick parts.

Kev, I lost my engine sync and my LOW IDLE last year. QSC 500's

Turns out someone had poked a hole in the wire insulation either at dealer or at the factory for trouble shooting purposes we assume . I never had motor issues so it wasn't me. Its the main engine wire harness. water from pulling the engine zincs and being exposed to the air took its toll and corroded the wire away. Was like a needle in haystack. 25 wire harness's per motor.
Totally grateful and they did it during prime time trykng to get boats splashed. Cant say enough nice things
