14' usable beam.
Dead End so no car traffic.
Up to 40' boat max.
4 Solid poles and starboard finger
Renter in slip but can stay or go depending on your need.

Insurance ?

If the dock / poles / finger get damaged who covers ?

What is the going rental fee ?
 
Slip costs:

Taxes $638 but tax deductible so figure about $400 cost
Common Charges - $405 a quarter or $1620 a year
So total costs are about $2K.
Now this includes your winter storage.
I don't carry insurance, you don't need it.
Finger pier and outside poles are yours, inside poles are marinas.
Typically if pole/pier is damaged by ice, they take responsibility.
This slip has 4 good poles, 1 is brand new.
Pier needs some work but all piers are being fixed by marina due to storm.

I have never had to replace a pole out of my pocket.
I did add 2 poles to my other slip, poles are $800 installed.

Rent is currently $3900 but I think a raise could be considered.

If you buy and use, it's a huge savings.
If you buy and rent you are making about $2K a year plus appreciation.
Because I have rented this slip for 4 years now, I am sacrificing my appreciation.
My reason to sell is I am interested in another slip and I don't want to own 3 slips!

Thanks for the reply, i am a marine technician and am always busy at
sea thats why l wont be able to check the item due to the nature of my
work so whats the present condition, because am buying this for my son
as a surprise gift so am willing to offer you the amount you required.
I can only pay through PayPal at the moment as i don't have access to
my bank account online(i don't have internet banking with it), but i
have it attached to my PayPal account, and this is why i insisted on
using PayPal to pay, all i will need is your PayPal email address to
pay for the item, and if you don't have a PayPal account yet, you can
set one up at www.paypal.com it cant take you less than 3mins to do
that, i will be expecting your PayPal email so l can pay. I have a
pick up agent that will come for the pick up after payment has been
sorted. l will be waiting for your reply asap
 
Pickup agent, huh? Good luck picking up a boat slip.
 
So what I don't get is if I give this guy mt PayPal address which he already has since he emailed me and they are the same.
He then adds the money.
What is mt risk? Now obviously the money must show or show and comes out quick.
Slip we know can't be picked up plus it's titled so unless there is a transfer of title I don't see how he gets it.

My guess is he is going to move $50k and ask me to refund $10k.
 
Wow funny how he sends so many of these letters out that he doesn't even take the time to personalize it to mention what the "item" is. Did you process the transaction? I wonder if it would go through on the stolen account info.

This my second slip. Not my main slip. I rent this one. I am bouncing around on boats. We will have something. On top of list is a bow rider and stay on trailer for a year. I have a few reasons for that decision. If the right big boat deal comes along I could be swayed. I do miss my boat even though season is over but I also look forward to trailer boating as I started there when I got my first boat and I enjoyed it. I feel if it's the right boat and I have the right tow vehicle then it's not a bad way to enjoy the water for a day. It is the weekends on the boat that I will miss.
 
I too started with a couple of trailer boats only I never really traveled much with them it quickly became boring to my family so we moved up. I can't see going back to this until maybe when I retire and then it will be to much work for me.
