Mob associate Glenn Mazzella, 49 .....of Smithtown was spared jail time yesterday after pleading guilty last year to extortion. Glenn was part of a crew working for the Genovese crime family as a soldier. He was also the owner of Glenn Marine & brokerage centers on Long Island.
U.S. District Judge John Gleeson of Brooklyn told Glenn Mazzella he's getting probation only because he was the sole caregiver of his 2 deaf teenage boys.
Mazzela said he was " deeply sorry " for his crimes and said he has promised his boys it would never happen again.
Is this the guy who was selling brokered boats in the AYC....???
