hi all..fall of '04 my starboard fuel tank gave out.last year i limped around on my port tank.ill be able to afford to replace both tanks this winter, but in the meantime i list like crazy when i put a decent amount of fuel into the boat. the genset is on the port side as well.the bad tank is bone dry, and has been dry for 1 1/2 yrs.i was thinking of dumping a quart or so of resin into the tank. after it sets up,ill fill the tank with water for ballast.is it dangerous to put the resin into the tank? should i just fill the tank with soapy water and let it drip into the bilge.and yes i did disconnect all the fuel lines from the bad tank, so there is no chance of water entering the fuel lines. thanks in advance
