BLank, thanks. We came to the same conclusions you did. The only thing is that the only slips available for 2008 were waaaaay out on J, K, or L - quite a distance when you look at it. I just had some ankle surgery this year that has me with limited walking ability, so we are a little leery of that distance. However, the place is terrific. The prices are higher by about $700, but the extras they throw in more than make up the difference - free towing anywhere on the bay, free healthclub, 3 haulouts, free cable, free month if you sign by March. Quite a nice deal and they are VERY service-oriented. The woman we spoke with last weekend when we visited was really nice and helpful and the marina manager even called us to follow up. Nice to see that in this day and age. I feel like a commercial for BMC, but it really was nice.
Slips at Anchorage are a bit closer to the mainland and the walk right cross the street to the Safeway, restaurants, and the shops is appealing for the winter months. So... we are going to try it this year while I recuperate. Maybe next year we'll make the move up Boston.
Thanks everyone for your help.
