The little white barnacle buggers attached themselves above my waterline and around the drive (the inch of space that should not have bottom paint). I have been keeping up with brushing them off, but can the these little white barnacles do damage to the fiberglass if they are left alone?
Should I have an initial coat of bottom paint that covers the entire area around the gimbel ring? The boat has had ablative paint on it since, new, so the area around the gimbel ring is exposed. Hard to get in there to clean, and I can feel a ridge building from the barnavcles. Neighbor told me not to worry, and not to pull the boat, no big deal, the little white barnacles won't harm the boat...true? I'm in the water until November.
