We are considering moving the family to the Jersey Shore. We have never cruised this part of New Jersey. Our experience has been limited to the Cape May area, the Delaware River north of Philadelphia and most recently, the Upper Chesapeake Bay.
We love the Chesapeake. We love to spend nights out rafted out on the hook. Are there many places to anchor with sandy bottoms? Is it possible to anchor off island beach state park and walk to the beach?
