Barnegat or Forked River Fireworks

Would love to catch the Fireworks on the hook. Anyone know a good spot? Tices?

Hi The best place is the Beachwood /Toms River fireworks , We anchor in the cove near the Toms river CC , We normally get there about 3 pm and have a good time till the Show starts about 8:30and then spend the night on the hook and the following morning cruise down to Huddy park and go Downtowm Toms river for breakfast . You know Guys this would be a great event for the Barnegat bay cruise club ! Ed

I stopped going to the Toms River fireworks a few years ago. Unless you are planning to get there by mid-afternoon and stay overnight, it is an absolute zoo. As soon as fireworks are over, it is total chaos and bedlam in the dark as hundreds of boats make their way down Toms River.
Now I go to Barnegat. Surprisingly good show and much less drama. You could see the show fairly well from Tices but I would head south of ICW BI and look for the fleet.

On the topic of NJ fireworks, Atlantic City (Borgata and Harrahs) will be having fireworks on July 3rd.

Re Barnegat fireworks.....Fired from a barge just northwest of buoy 42 but before BI.
