Noreaster called for tomorrow. A lot of boats still in that may not be prepared for what could be a winter mix of heavy snow.

Good luck,

Billy K.

Scheduled to be hauled this morning.
Did the freah water system in prep and took off canvas.

You guys crack me up but you are a bitNorth of me. This should be a 80% rain issue here. We are provisioned up and have been on the boat since late Thursday. We plan on riding out the storm. It won't be the 1st or last time! I'm enjoying the boat until it just gets too cold to operate the heat pumps which is generally early Decemeber.

We need to come out this early because the marina turns the water off the second week in NOV. I need the water to flush the motors and clean the boat before storage.

Winterized the M/H yesterday.......topped off the fuel ( propane & diesel ) tanks.....added the diesel stabilizer.....put down the jacks to get the weight off the tires......kissed it good night.

IM READY.....BRING IT ON. :)

Boat is still in. Heading to Kismet for thier Holloween Party... Hope to get a slip. ;)

Yeah Right... Too nasty to even leave the house today.

I have to say this has been the oddest boating season yet.

Hurricanes.
Snow in October.

Our marina turns off the water in the 2nd week of November to the docks only. I have 2 options either fire up the water maker or move the boat up to the service dock and run a hose from the marina building to the boat and top the tanks off each time we come down. I am always the last boat out and 1st in. I hope that holds true this year and hopefully next year. Even if I sell this boat I will more than likely have a replacement before Spring.

Dave, You forgot the mini earthquake....

Was that all over the island?
I thought it was just in my bedroom!

Fire ants, Crocks and Alligators just a few reasons I was never crazy about Florida.

Hello to my friends, the "BILLS".....Look at it this way..... With all the native odds and ends of animal life a Floridian never has to pay a Zoo Admission charge. And don't forget that we get to see strange species from Yankeeland every winter!

I hate the winters here, but I don't think I could take the humidity in Florida. Nice place to visit every couple of years, but I never had a desire to live there despite the fact that I have a couple of siblings and cousins down there.
