got a '93 albin 28 to with a new 2006 peninsular 310 turbo/90 amp alternator,2 new batteries...
is this thing a "nice to have" or a "must have"?
...
looks like a potential "single point failure" than adds complexity to a simple system..
...
also, i'm not sure i understand the 'isolator voltage drop' thing.
