I'm sure this isn't an easy question, but I'd like some opinions.
I purchased a new battery for my 26' single engine (5.7l - 260hp Mercruser) boat. This battery will be used for starting only as I have a 'house' battery on a 1-2-Both-Off switch.
The new battery is a 550MCA/440CCA rating from the manufacture (Deka Marine Master). Is this a good battery for my set up? The boat is mainly a weekend boat and is charged during the week on an automatic battery charger off shore power.
Any help is appreciated.
