On another Regal site there were some questions on my BBQ mount, Thought there may be value in us having a post here. There was one on the old site full of ideas.

My post is below.

Thanks for the comments on the boat and BBQ. Same setup on our old boat. Works great. Small hole in deck with a stainless steel sleeve and a couple of D rings, short stainless steel post for when underway and a longer post for cooking time.

Must remember to bungee the BBQ when underway so as not to lose it. Also must be careful not to lose the steel posts. So far I never have. Dealer is captians village. I imagine he would ship the parts. 1-250-955-2424

Here are a few pictures from the old boat. Same set up. Dickson BBQ, but this is a new larger model. The dealer came up with the mount system. Has the posts made. It is awesome.

I won't be back on the boat until June.... off to Europe for a cruise. 25th anniversary. When back will take some pics of the mount.

On the old site, lots of people posted their BBQ mounts. Lots of good ideas. Perhaps time for a similar thread.

Take care.

Have a great cruise! I like the way your BBQ is out over the water!

In your first pic I have a very similar set-up....The grease from the BBQ drips in the water and not on the swim platform...I had my pole mount made from a piece of electrical conduit and bent at a local muffler shop...Works like a charm...
