Just a reminder, I was cleaning our 290 Commodore today and slipped off the top step above the swim platform and proceeded to bounce on my butt down the three steps into the drink I consider myself lucky with just the minor bruising I recieved . On the plus side we are going down to Morrisons marina in Beach Haven N.J.to spend the weekend So If any you are in the area drop by for a cocktail ,, Bruised and wet but still Vertical Ed !

Yep, most of my friends have slipped and got wet at one time or another.. some more that once.. I've been pretty fortunate until about a month ago... while on the swim platform reaching under the teak, cleaning spider webs, I reached just a little too far and rolled off the edge.. I didn't get hurt, never really got my head wet, just me & my shorts.. I was back up on the platform in no time..
Funny part was, I was back on the boat before anyone came to see what the noise was.. the Admiral heard it, came back and said, what was that???
The good news was the water temp was great, and it actually felt pretty good. It was warmer than the pool was later that day.. we did have to rescue the sponge however.. which was more or less the give away of what really happened.
