Mike and I have agreed to shift location to Cocoa Beach.
It's an easy drive east from Orlando...is bordered by a couple of rivers, has ocean view and accessibility, plenty of hotels, bars, restaurants and things to do; the space center is right nearby for one.
Plus...it gets us away from the pandemonium of the Land of the Rat!!
Dates are flexible...the initial thinking was to obviously make it past the High Holidays...late January, early February...(I should clarify that it would be 2007)...but that can certainly be flexed to middle/late Feb or thereabouts. The idea being to make it a winter break and be able to meet fellow RO's...make it accessible for all without getting too crazy, etc.
Mike is starting to get a feel for rates using a 50 person/25 room turnout for the time being.
