Its been almost one year to date since I've had to do any repairs to the boat, so I guess I'm due. LOL
The boat has been taking on about a gallon of water every hour or so, I found the culprit. Cracked shift cable bellows. So I know that needs replaced. While I'm doing it I figured I do the drive bellows as well. I've been told that I might as well replace the shift cable too.
So how hard is it to do all this stuff. I'm fairly mechanically inclined. Do I need any special tools? Looks like parts are gonna be less then $200, and I was qouted $6-700 to have it done by my marina. If I can do it myself I can save about $500.
Any thoughts?
