Is there an alternative to welding to repair a bent vertical stainless steel bow rail?
I had planned to cut out the bent section of 1 inch stainless steel. One end of the new stainless steel tube would go into the existing rail base on the deck, the other end into a "sleeve" connector.
Problem is that I have not been able to find a stainless steel sleeve to connect two sections of stainless steel 1 inch OD tube. Anyone know of a source or of a better way to repair this?
