Blockage in Mainfold

I am trying to remove parts from an impeller pump that broken pieces got into the manifold side. I have flushed it quite a bit with a garden hose and still getting some material out that way via the drain plug. Was wondering if some one knew how to pressurize the system to force more out. Or have any suggestions. Thanks
