Dropped boat off at Commache Cove Yacht Yard for some work including;

- Bottom job

- Boot stripe

- Galvonic survey and repairs

- Starboard engine started to overheat on way into harbor so I told them to change out the impeller, H Xchnager service w/i last two months.

- Upper helm station leak, which I tried to repair myself with new shaft seal, no luck

Yard appears to be pretty busy, 10 or so boats on blocks.

I have a lot of work done at Oasis Boat Yard. Prices seem very fair and they can usually get you in and out in short order.

I've used John at Oasis for various projects including installation of a bow thruster. I've been using Peter Sabo at Comanchee Cove since they put new fuel tanks in my boat. The last bottom job Peter did was 26 months ago. When she was pulled on Monday morning the bottom paint still looked real good. We're luck to have several very good yards to choose from for whatever work we need to have done.

Seal kit installed, sea trial the steering is still leaking. Forget about fixing old helm pump, told them to get a new one. Och, $1100. for the pump.

Picked Prudence up this morning, Tiger Woods boat(Privacy) was docked just down the fairway. Probably 160' Christensen that didn't have a water mark on her. Hailing port is Georgetown, GCI and she was flying the Union Jack. I wonder if the State of Florida has collected taxes on this beast. Nobody appeared to be onboard, but Tiger had an afternoon tee time at TPC.

Prudence ran real good on the way home, from Commache Cove to dock behind the house 3 hours and 2 minutes, that's what I call catching the tides right.
