Anybody heard anything about a large boat on fire in Kent Island/Stevensville area this afternoon? A friend of mine was coming over the Bay Bridge and said he could see a large boat ablaze in a crowded marina south of the bridge. He said it flames were shooting high in the air and there were other boats close by and a wind blowing. I can't seem to find anything on the net about it.

I don't know anything about the fire, but from your description of the location, the fire was at Bay Bridge Marina.
Turns out to have been at Mears, looked like a Carver aft burned badly. Grasonville FD site has a few pics.
