Hi everyone
I need some help finding a good and reasonable boat insurance Carrier. Any Suggestions?

I have been using NBOA.
Look them up.
They are affiliated with new SeaRay's and got them when I got my SeaRay and stuck with them ever since.
The are brokers, but they always seem to find me good deals.

Mike,

You could also check out the rates through your local US Power Squadron. You need to pay to join but the rates are worth it based on what my buddies are all paying.

*Unfortunately for me my 'situation' prevents me from enjoying the same savings.

A second for the Motts. I've known the family for over 40 years. Their service as well as their rates are great.

I have the Mott agency also. They got be a better price with Zurich Marine Insurance than Boat US quoted me. That was about three years ago.
 
i've got progressive. the rates are very competitive and the one time i filed a claim, they paid quickly and without any issues.

I second CurrentSea, NBOA has great rates and a top-rated underwriter.

But then again, I can't refute Walter's comment.
 
I agree with Walter........They ALL suck when you file a claim !!!!
 
Hey Guys Thanks !! I have calls into all mentioned lets see who comes back with the best rates. If i can ask what is the Average you guys are paying for the year... i know it gos by alot ... Size of boat....year ...etc just want to get an idea..
