Thinking of installing the "Mist-er-Comfort boat misting system under my hardtop in the cockpit. Anyone have any experience with this system? I am concerned about the effectiveness in high humidity.
Not a good choice. To feel cool in a humid climate, you need to remove moisture from the air, not add to it. IMO, you'll just be damper and just as hot. You'd be better off with a fan.

I wouldn't think a conservatively sized mister would use much water nor elec and could even be self-contained. With a fan, it should make a huge difference. They use them all over Austin and our humidity can get pretty high. Might even be worth it to rig a temp system (zip ties, etc.)
