I am looking to setup some basic remote monitoring on my boat of electric, temp, water, maybe motion. Ideally I would like to find something wireless and easy to install with alerts and a web portal for history. I am also not looking to spend a fortune, roughly under 2K, and I am fine with a subscription fee.

I was looking at MyBoatStatus.com and it seems like what I am looking for but I can't find any reviews anywhere.

Does anyone have any experience with this product or can recommend an alternative?

Here is a link to the company:

I appreciate any help. Thanks -

I've been using http://www.monnit.com/ for the last couple of years.

Easy to set up. Cellular gateway with configurable modules for various things. I have exterior temp, exterior water temp, engine room temp, lower cabin temp, battery voltage. Each module reports to the gateway a preset number of times/day (mine are set for 4) and you can access the gateway with apps or webpage. If a sensor "sees" out of a prescribed range, it will go in mode that reports more often, and will text/email preset numbers. Gateway will handle many (I think 100) sensors. Many more than I need. (My Admiral keeps finding sensors and wonders why I need them. Surely one can see the need for knowing that the upper galley temp is different than the lower berth? Or the value in comparing the temp of the exposed bridge temp to the temp on the dock..)

Thanks so much I will check out those options and report back.
