Boat vs. Rocket

Oh well...never made it off the launch pad. I hope no one was hurt.
 
Last time they shot one from this area, I was sitting on back of my boat.
I had NASA TV on ipad and saw it go up and no sooner did it leave the ipad screen I saw a bright orange streak across the Great South Bay on Long Island. Yeah, it was higher than it looked, but was pretty cool.

Sorry this one didn't make it!
 
Perhaps I don't have the complete story but wasn't the reason the rocket wasn't launched Monday due to a boat being in the launch pads safety zone and it couldn't be moved in time?

I hope the Coast Guard at least fines the owner of the vessel that was in the safety zone.They never even responed to communication from NASA to clear the safety zone! Could the delay have been responsible for the failure? Time will tell.
