Tang:
Are you good to meet at an Island on the US side for a BBQ?...
Any suggestions as to where?...

Sounds like a good idea although I'm not that familiar with the area. Also I have to hope for decent weather either the 13th or 14th to cross Ontario.
I've been out there before with waves rolling right up the foredeck and over the windshield .....NOT fun....
Maybe someone more familiar with the area will chime in.

Canoe Point State Park is only about 15 minutes from Gan. It's on the NE corner of Grindstone Island. Plenty of good water, dockage, and area to barbecue.
Slightly further away (maybe 1/2 an hour from Gan.) is the Waterson State Park crib dock, on the N side of Wellesley Island. It's a straight dock, perpendicular to shore with deep water on both sides. There is also plenty of room here to cook out. This spot is a little better protected than Canoe Point.

The admiral has plans for me that weekend. Something about the inlaws........
If anything changes and I'm on the River, I'll give you a shout on the VHF. What's
your boat's name?

Yes...Admiral's do that to us once in a while...Boats name is 2nd Omega...I'll leave the radio on 68...

I hope all them fella's who are hookin' up with Wayne this weekend in Gan know what he really looks like so's they don't miss him! So for the record here's what the real Wayne (Carver 2557) looks like! Hope's ya all have a great weekend! I hear Wayne's puttin' a fresh beaver on the BBQ! Ohhhhhh that's a special Cannuck delicacy! Enjoy!

Just got back last night from our trip up the Rideau. Had a great time as usual.

Looking forward to the get together in Gan this weekend.

Same here... Leaving for the boat tomorrow night, then overnight in kingston on Friday night and arrive in Gan late friday afternoon.

Wayne
Will you be wearing that hat so we can find you?
Weather report looks good.
I'll be getting there Friday afternoon.

I only wear that hat when going to KnottyBuoyz (Rick's) hometown...They all look like that there..., but then again their all related...and excellent banjo players to boot...

I plan on starting to load the boat at 7am on Friday...I should be done and underway by 9:30am...arriving in Gan around the noon hour....I'll be the boat that looks like it's sinking...we are going for 3 days, so the Admiral will have the boat WELL packed...You should see when we go for 2 weeks...unfrigin believable...

See you guys there..

Whats up with Tang?...

Sounds like Tanq is planning on leaving Thurs or Fri.

Canoe point has a little more room for dockage if we are hooking up with him. It is just past the cut going to Gan from the Canadian channel. It is about half way between Clayton and Gan.

Tanq... Are you still coming? PM one of us with a way to contact you when you get up here.

Tang can't PM so I take a chance and post one of my E-Mail addresses for him to let us know...

campbell8133 at yahoo.ca

Let the span begin...

No E-Mails from Tang yet, but I got 2 E-Mails on how to hook up with hot chicks in New York...Do they actualy have them in New York?...

That was quick.
Sooooo it looks like 3 firm and 1 possible rendezvous somewhere on the river.
As far as "hot chicks" in New York I'm not sure if it is the same NY I'm familiar with...
