I was just looking over the Boatfix Zinc prices & damn they look pretty good - Even better is that they are selling the Camp (better quality USA made) Zincs.

It sure is nice thinking about this season being on the water again, instead of this gloom & doom economy.

I just want to be able to say
Gentleman, Start your engines!

I think that Camp is made in Canada. Close enough!

Sugilbert, everything I see about Camp Zincs is saying made by American Workers. I doubt they are actually made in Canada. Recheck you information?
See this ad copy below off a site:

Genuine Camp zincs features:

- Manufactured to the strictest military specifications, using the finest materials
- The most reliable, stainless fastening systems-won't break prematurely
- Consistent slough, long lasting zincs; easy to remove
- Copper or brass contacts form a permanent ground. Others don't use these
- Made by American workers.
- Camp zincs have the Best reputation of any zincs made
- Divers request Camp more than any other zincs on the market

Boatfix prices are the best on the internet.

I switched over to them a few years ago and saved some $$$ over the dedicated zinc website.

I use Martyr zincs which are top notch too.

Anyone with Volvo-Penta outdrives;
VP has a parts bulletin P-44-1 about aluminum anodes for use in salt or fresh water and zinc anodes exclusively in salt water and magnesium in fresh water only. Boat Fix has great prices on Performance Metals aluminum anodes.
