I think the chart displays and the interference with windshields is a function of almost any polarized lens when you have a polarized window or display.
Some folks have taken the polarized coating off of the chartplotter screen to make this easier. We're lucky in that we look straight on the chartplotter so it doesn't interfere ... the only time I have to tilt my head is when I am looking from the side seat.
